About Amy Crutsinger
Amy Crutsinger MPA, PA-C is a Nationally Certified Physician Assistant through the NCCPA. Amy received her undergraduate degree in Kinesiology with a concentration in exercise Science from James Madison University graduating Cum Laude. Following her graduation, Amy joined Wagner Macula & Retina Center in 2014 becoming a Certified Ophthalmic Assistant. During her time here Amy quickly fell in love with the patients and care that is provided at WKI. Finding a sense of purpose and having a desire to serve WKI patients in a greater capacity, Amy then attended Eastern Virginia Medical School where she received her Masters of Physician Assistant and passed the national certification exam becoming a Certified Physician Assistant.
After graduating from EVMS Amy returned to WKI specializing in ophthalmic care under the training of Dr. Wagner and Dr. Kapoor. As a PA-C and active member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and Virginia Academy of Physician Assistants, Amy acts as an extension of our physicians in the complex care of Retinal and Vitreous Diseases.
Born and raised in Virginia Beach, Amy enjoys spending time outdoors and fishing the local waters with her husband Nolan and their dog Wyatt.
