Everyone was so efficient and on top of things as well as super friendly. I was impressed with Dr. Wagner and loved his sense of humor, made the visit more tolerable and I felt upbeat about my problem when I left.

Thank You So Much. Below is a transcript of an email I sent out concerning my visit and got a bunch of excellent replies. I had some real good news today that I would like to share with all and thank You for all the Prayers on my behalf. Today I went to see my new Eye Surgeon at The Wagner Macula and Retina Center here in Eastern VA. The visit was prompted by some bleeding that started 2 weeks ago in my left eye, which is my “not legally blind eye”. Needless to say it had me worried, because if the sight degenerates in that eye things won’t go well for us here. I naturally was apprehensive, about having to change doctors but got immediately impressed with the professionalism of their practice and procedures and staff. The great news is that the Retina is still in good shape, the bleeding has stopped and will heal itself and dissipate, and no surgery is necessary. I saw Dr. Kapoor today and will see Dr. Wagner when I go back in two mounts for a routine follow-up unless something else happens to warrant an earlier visit. There is a culture of kindness, positivity and efficiency that radiates all through this practice. With each employee and technician, the norm is always a smile, the use of your name, and caring eye contact, yet at every step, the process flows swiftly and smoothly. This matters greatly when a patient is anxious about her sight and the procedure. From the receptionist on through to Dr. Wagner himself, the impression is clear. "This team knows what it's doing and they care about me."
