If you need to have shots in your eyes, Dr. Wagner is the one to do it. Staff is pleasant and through and Dr. Wagner is great. Alway full of fun which diverts your attention from the needle.

Dr. Wagner is brilliant, caring, insightful, and reassuring. He has offices located in most Hampton Roads communities which allows for scheduling close to home when non-urgent and availability at other offices when urgent. The office staff is always professional and diligent in my experience, and are also kind, compassionate, and accommodating. Dr. Wagner is a specialty provider and as such patient emergencies that delay his arrival in office can occur. On the single time this occurred effecting me the staff kept patients waiting informed, were very accommodating in terms of rescheduling, getting water and popcorn snacks for those hungry, really various staff would stop by different patients and personally ask if there was anything they could do to make more comfortable. I haven’t seen that kind of customer service, or patient consideration anywhere. When Dr. Wagner did arrive that day he provided the same level of attention and excellent service as during every other appointment without any feeling of rush. If one is experiencing a retina difficulty or unexplained uveitis, I highly recommend consideration of visiting Dr. Wagner’s practice. He himself is a bit like that ‘House’ from TV series and knows the unique causes of eye disease / disorders but also has specialty providers for those disorders in practice. Really an amazing group!!!

This past visit was great. I both enjoyed the music, and the fact that I experienced only a little pain when getting the eye shot. Dr. Kapoor is a great doctor with a great staff. This time I felt like I was treated like a valued person, and not just a patient being rushed threw.
